Working within a budget
Almost everyone has a limit to how much they are willing to spend on their yard. Especially if we are talking about a second or investment home. Here are some tips so you don't sell your yard short and get the most bang for your buck.
Start with a plan: We suggest starting with a basic plan that you can add to later or do improvements yourself. Getting with a professional at least for the planning stages can be a great help on your wallet. It also provides you with an overview of what you can accomplish if you want to do the work yourself.
Keep it simple: Look for low maintenance plants, grasses and trees for a yard that require less upkeep if you feel you cannot afford to keep someone on retainer to do so. We will gladly mow lawns and do intermittent upkeep for you if you find yourself in a time crunch.
Designing your yard
We can design your yard with a lot or very little input from you. We of course like to get input from the homeowner on their preferences, but we are also capable of working autonomously which is especially helpful for out-of-town homeowners. We will keep in touch with you every step of the way through telephone and email correspondence including digital pictures.
We can also provide the homeowner with hand-drawn designs of their landscape which they can use to visualize the final design and make changes or preferences known at that time. We will implement those changes and the result is a professionally designed yard that has your stamp of approval on it.
We strive to make this an easy process for you.
